The Voluson 730 is an excellent and reliable ultrasound system and it was one of the first systems with 4D.
It provides outstanding images and is still standard for 4D obstetric imaging. It is a very a popular machine, not only for OB/GYN, but also for vascular, small parts, and women’s health in general. The Pro model has a good frame rate in 4D, as well as great image quality in 2D .
The Voluson 730 is easy to use as it has a great user interface, in addition to a number of innovative options that increase performance. Even the early version of the system have good image quality, so there is room for a Voluson 730 in most budgets.
- Up to 40 volumetric scans per second
- CrossXBeamCRI™ (CRI) for enhanced tissue and border differentiation
- Speckle Reduction Imaging II (SRI II) for better visibility of organs and lesions through improved contrast resolution and border detection
- Volume Contrast Imaging (VCI) for easier assessment of size, margins and internal structures of lesions through maximized image quality in all three planes
- HD-Flow™ bi-directional power Doppler for increased sensitivity of vascular exams in addition to reduced overwriting associated with standard color
- Doppler Tomographic Ultrasound Imaging (TUI) for simultaneous viewing of multiple slices of a volume data set
- Spatio-Temporal Image Correlation (STIC): Slow acquisition of the fetal heart with the option of displaying a full heart cycle in motion
